Thank you all who made The Jobsite: Mapping The Future of Damage Prevention, a success in 2023! The Utility Expo, Louisville KY, Sept. 26-28
About the The Jobsite
ccc
In 2021, The Jobsite utility service providers worked collaboratively to safely install 900’ of 2” pipe and conduit. This buried infrastructure set the stage for The Jobsite 2023: Mapping the Future of Damage Prevention. The Jobsite assembles the technology and methods to reduce underground utility strikes, all in one place, at one time, for the benefit of all stakeholders.
The Jobsite is located at the midpoint of Lot K and Lot E, just outside Broadbent Arena and features a relaxed, peer-to-peer learning environment promoting a hands-on approach to learning new methods and technologies.
The Jobsite Educational Sessions
While educational sessions are scheduled, hands-on demos can be performed anytime and anywhere within The Jobsite.
The Jobsite is a filmed event, so the education provided can be viewed by an even larger audience than that at The Utility Expo.
Educational Topics in 2023 included:
Mastering Jobsite Data Collection: Safeguarding Against Damages During and After Construction
Unlocking the Power of Jobsite Data: Enhancing As-Builts, Decision-Making, and Project Management
The Latest in GPR Software, Hardware, and Workflows.
Visualizing the Built World: Transforming Jobsite Collaboration with a GIS Platform
